Smoothie Recipe and New Crochet patterns

Okay, I've concocted an awesome smoothie.  And it has spinach. But you can't taste it. It tastes like a chocolate milkshake!


My kids were even deceived. They loved it. They didn't have a clue that spinach was in it. Score!

So, without further ado - here's the recipe.


The Triple S   (Shana's Spinach Smoothie) :)

1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk ( or 1 cup skim milk)
1 banana (I slice and freeze mine ahead of time for better smoothie texture)
4 Tbsp chocolate protein powder (I use the Biggest Loser protein powder)
1 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 packet Truvia
1 generous handful of spinach leaves
1 cup crushed ice.

Blend and enjoy. Makes 2 servings. Each serving is only 115 calories. And it tastes like a chocolate banana milkshake!!!
